The Abraham Bridge Initiative (TABI) is a Middle East-based "innovation laboratory" serving as a leadership and diplomacy platform rebuilding bridges between Israel, the Jewish world, the MENA region and the Abraham Accord nations of today and tomorrow.
We empower pragmatic young leaders to turn regional connection from an idea into a living reality between vast peoples and cultures. Through policy, culture, interfaith engagement, media, and leadership development, TABI transforms dialogue into action and helps shape a more connected, stable, and cooperative Middle East.

Through diplomacy, policy research, cultural exchange, interfaith engagement, public diplomacy, media projects, and leadership development, we create practical opportunities for young adults to become young leaders to develop themselves and their aspirations for a better region.
Our work includes embassy and cultural site visits, policy papers, cultural diplomacy projects, interfaith gatherings, storytelling initiatives, regional dialogue, and leadership programs — all designed to transform conversation into connection, and connection into meaningful future cooperation.

What We Believe In
We believe that peace is built through many bridges — diplomacy, culture, faith, education, policy, media, leadership, and the everyday relationships formed between people.
TABI is rooted in the Middle East and guided by pragmatism, responsibility, and a clear understanding of regional realities. We believe in learning from the mistakes of the past, avoiding naïve assumptions and divisive rhetoric, and focusing instead on serious ideas, human connection, and practical cooperation.
Above all, we believe that the future of West Asia and North Africa must be shaped by the people of this region — through the courage to trust, and the mutual willingness to drop the knives of ideological feuds and pick up the olive branches and build together with the understanding of eachothers differing cultural and religious differences.

A Message From Our Founder
The Abraham Bridge Initiative began in the shadow of a broken illusion.
After October 7th, many of the people most devastated by violence were the very people who had believed most deeply in peace, coexistence, and the possibility of a different Middle East. It was a painful realisation: good intentions alone are not enough. Peace cannot survive on slogans or naïve hope. It must be built with realism, courage, and people who understand the region as it truly is.
Yet even in that storm, something remarkable endured. While war, fear, and extremism tried to pull the region backward and away from normalisation the Abraham Accords did not collapse. The relationships built between Israel and parts of the Arab world proved to be more than diplomatic signatures on paper. These “bridges” revealed the outline of a new regional future — occasional storms, but sturdy and determined.
That moment inspired me to ask what kind of peace-building could meet the seriousness of this era. Not peace as a fantasy, but peace as a shared responsibility. Not dialogue for its own sake, but dialogue that becomes trust, trust that becomes cooperation, and cooperation that becomes a new reality for the peoples of West Asia and North Africa.
TABI began as a one-year project through the Shimon Peres Fellowship at Reichman University’s Raphael Recanati International School. It was built on the research that lasting regional cooperation cannot be left to governments alone. It must also be carried by education, media, culture, leadership, and the human relationships formed between people who are willing to see one another beyond fear and politics.
What began as a small student fellowship project slowly grew into a movement. Through uncertainty we progressed through active wars, and TABI continued to build — one conversation, one event, one partnership, and one young leader at a time. This dream became a platform to develop ideas into realities, inspiring TABI’s nickname: “The Innovation Laboratory.”
The name “The Abraham Bridge Initiative” carries the heart of this mission. Avraham — Ibrahim — is the intersection of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian values. His open tent symbolises courage, and the belief that it takes bravery trust strangers, bring them in be open to their perspectives and realities yet still be honest to your own. For TABI, that image became a call to rebuild the bridges of this region with open eyes, open unshaking arms, and a deep sense of personal responsibility.
TABI was born from a realisation, but it grew through determination. It is the answer to a simple but urgent question: after so much division, who will still choose to build?

TABI’s initiatives are primarily designed for students and young adults between the ages of 18-30 and anyone who is still motivated and eager to make a change. Anyone interested in diplomacy, leadership, regional affairs, culture, media, and peacebuilding. Some events may also include professionals, community leaders, academics, diplomats, and partner organisations.
TABI hosts diplomatic visits, policy discussions, leadership programmes, cultural exchanges, interfaith encounters, workshops, community visits, media projects, networking events, and regional initiatives designed to build practical skills and meaningful friendships and connections.
You can support TABI by volunteering your time, attending our events, or making a donation or even just following us on social media. Contributions help us create more opportunities for bridging gaps and fostering dialogue with larger influence and more impact.
A General Member participates in TABI’s events, opportunities, discussions, and wider community without taking on a regular operational role. A Committee Member contributes more actively to the planning, development, and delivery of projects within one of TABI’s committees and is expected to take greater responsibility and initiative. Naturally, committee members reap more rewards and gain early access to special delegations, trips, and opportunities.
No. TABI is an international organisation located wherever you are situated. Although there is priority access to locals of the region.
TABI measures success through participation, leadership development, completed projects, published work, institutional partnerships, community engagement, and the practical impact of its programmes. We also evaluate whether our initiatives create lasting relationships, new opportunities, and stronger understanding across communities.
