The Abraham Bridge Podcast

Article by Yossi Hurst

The Accords Made History. We’re Keeping It’s Relevancy.

In 2020, Israel, the UAE and Bahrain signed the Abraham Accords, opening a new chapter in the Middle East. Morocco joined soon after.
The world watched the handshakes, the flags and the signing ceremonies.
But that was only the beginning.
What happens after countries make peace?
How do strangers become partners?
How do diplomatic ties become real relationships?
What happens when politics gets in the way?
And what does it actually take to build something that lasts?
The Abraham Bridge Podcast goes beyond the headlines to find out.
Each episode takes us inside a different country, relationship or regional story through conversations with the people who have experienced it firsthand.
We speak with diplomats, academics, entrepreneurs, leaders, young leaders, policymakers and others working across Israel and the Middle East and North Africa — including countries already part of the Abraham Accords and those whose relationships with Israel may be changing.
These aren’t conversations about diplomacy from a distance.
They’re the stories of the people doing it.
The partnerships being built.
The assumptions being challenged.
The unexpected connections.
The difficult conversations.
And the opportunities that don’t always make the headlines.
Why listen?
Because the story of regional peace doesn’t end when an agreement is signed.
In fact, that’s when the harder work begins.
The reality of Israel’s relationships across the region is often much more complicated — and much more interesting — than the headlines suggest. The Abraham Bridge Podcast creates a space to hear directly from the people who understand these relationships from the inside and ask what we can learn from them.
Every episode looks beyond what happened to ask:
Why did it happen? What can we learn from it? And where do we go from here?
From Conversation to Action
The conversation doesn’t end when you stop listening.
Each episode is accompanied by a short written brief capturing the key insights and translating them into practical policy ideas.
The goal is to build something over time: a growing body of conversations, ideas and recommendations that can contribute to deeper regional relationships — and eventually bring the people behind these conversations together around the same table.
Because dialogue shouldn’t just help us understand the region.
It should help us shape the bridge for what comes next.
Real people. Real relationships. A changing region.
Who should we talk to next?
There are stories across the region that deserve to be heard.
A country we should explore?
A relationship we should understand better?
Someone whose perspective we shouldn’t miss?
Get in touch and let us know!
The next important conversation might start with you.
